The comprehensive eye exam at Hillcrest Optical includes visual acuity testing, refraction, binocular vision testing, tonometry (check eye pressure), Cataract and Glaucoma screening, as well as check the internal and external health of your eyes. The doctor also checks to see how well the eyes focus on near and distant objects. The exam concludes with a review of the findings and recommendations for continued visual well being.
As well as performing eye examinations, we also specialize in custom eyewear. Our in-house laboratory allows us to do many of our eyewear orders here locally. While some insurances dictate which labs do their orders, most allow us to make them ourselves. We pride ourselves in the workmanship of our eyewear and we stand behind it 100%. You can be sure you are getting the highest quality eyewear available.
